Frosted Maple Cookies Recipes

Yumm who doesn't like cookies and frosted one at that. Here I have another fun recipe from one of my brocher  I got in the mail a few years ago by the company Goose Berry Patch wonderful recipe's to check out.


A Fall's Favorite, sorry I am still trying to figure my camera settings to perfect.

 Ingredients: 

1 c. Sun-Maid Natural Raisins 

3/4 c. water

1 tsp. baking soda

1/2 cup butter, soften

1- 1/2 c. powder sugar

2 eggs beaten

2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 

2 1/3 tsp. maple flavoring

1/4 tsp. salt

Steps:

1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, simmer raisins in water until liquid is reduced by one third. Stir in baking soda and set aside. Blend powder sugar and butter in a large bowl. Stir in eggs, Add flour, maple flavoring and salt mix well. Stir in raisin mixture; refrigerate for 2 hours. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets, Bake at 350 for 12 - 15 minutes. Cool: Frost with maple cream frosting, Makes about 3 dozen.
