Book Review 2 "City Chic"

Book Review

Author: Nina Willdorf

Title: City Chic The Moderns Girl's Guide to Living Large on Less

Genre: Women & Young Adult Women

Book 2 is another interesting book I found in the same section as the first book. This book talks about living on your own for the first time and what to do and how to budget your money.

This book is very helpful for the girls moving on there own for the first time, even if your still in your parents home and you have your own room.

A must read book if you would like to manage your money and lifestyle. The tips also have good links for you to check out and I did check them out and I liked them.

I use them before and still do at times. Thrift Shops are my fav.

So if your looking to save money and spend on a budget this is a must read. I give 5 Stars.

Book Review 1

Author: Camilla Morton

Title: How to Walk in High Heels

Genre: Women & Young Adult Women

At times I like to find books on self help in this genre. I went to the library the beginning of this month April and found 2 fun books. This book dealt with how to's and not's on dressing and appearances.

It is a very interesting book and has a lot of great tips for us women going on interviews or everyday outings. The tips have to be my favorite, and I would recommend this book to all the women out there that would like to try changing there appearance and have fun with a new fresh look.

It never hurts to try a new fun style sometimes:)  5 Stars from me.

Casual Chit Chat Thursday

Good Morning Everyone,

It is a half gloomy day but still a warm beauty in a way. I have a couple of books to give a review on that I checked out from the library, I can't remember the last time I went all the time to the library.

I just wish that the public would put there lap tops down and pop into a library you never know what cool  magazine, movie or book to rent out.

I also have a couple of movies I rented and will review all tomorrow's post:) in the meantime enjoying a strawberry banana orange juice smoothie it reminds me of Orange Julius but with out the powder aftertaste.

I just chop up the fruits and toss in and blend.

I can't help it I drank it all :) Have a wonderful day.

Recipe Old El Paso Taco Boats

Steak Taco Boats

I found this recipe over at Betty Crocker's, it is a Philly Cheese Steak Boat. It did not turn out like the recipe. I did it my way and if you would like the real recipe just click above.

Here is what I used: Montreal Steak Grilling Seasoning, Steak, Green Onion, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Shreded Cheese, El Paso Boats, Cilantro.  I forgot the fries.

What I did with mine was take the beef steak cut it in cubes and add the Montreal Steak Grill Seasoning mixing it well, then add it to a hot vegetable oil pan.

You will cook it till it is done fully. I really like the seasoning, although I bought the wrong one, I got hamburger steak grill instead of steak but it still came out real good and tasty.

Here it is when I added all. I have in my little boat is Cilantro, Green Onion, Tomatoes, Shredded Cheese, Lettuce.

This is my version. I just didn't have the right stuff for the real recipe, that will be a next try:) Please let me know if you try this one or make your own as well.
